I’ve been thinking a lot about art, lately. I’ve also been thinking a lot about things I’ve forgotten, never told anyone, but now seem compelling. Like when I was getting my first communion, I felt like I knew the words the priest was saying as he was saying them, and it was god speaking through me. It turns out that the brain has an incredible ability to predict full words before they’re said, that’s not god. That’s neuroscience. Some diety may be involved, but I’m just not sure.

I’m home, tan and content, except for the fact that southwest airlines lost my brand new longboard, which is a crushing, crushing blow.
